'Survivor': 'Blood vs. Water 2': The Duel Resulted In Val Spending The Night In Exile Island
On its first two episodes of the reality competitive series of Survivor: San Juan del Sur hosted by Jeff Probst, nine pairs of loved ones was divided into two tribes; Hunahpu and Coyopa. They were outcast separately in Nicaragua. This ‘Blood vs. Water’ themed series reintroduced the Exile Island into the game.
The premiere episode aired last September 24, 2014 which entitled as “Suck It Up and Survive”,18 new fresh faces arrived in Nicaragua and participated in the first reward challenge in which husband Jeremy volunteered as the representative for Hunahpu after they won the rock- paper- scissors, but revealed that he had to compete with his wife Val. The duel resulted inVal spending the night in Exile Island, Jeremy choses Keith from his own tribe for the reason that he could take care of his wife. In Exile Island, Val found a clue for immunity idol but kept the truth from Keith. Meanwhile, John Rocker’s identity as the former relief pitcher of the Atlanta Braves baseball team was known to Wes and planned to form an alliance but John has become wary about this and voted him. As Val and Keith returned to the Island after spending the night in Exile, and after the first gathering of the tribal council, Nadiya was voted out from the competition.
Followed by the 2nd episode dubbed as “Method to this Madness”, when Coyopa tribe returned without Nadiya, Josh explained the reason why he had to vote Nadiya out, to remove the suspicion that Baylor and her were making alliance but Baylor then, was scared of the move. On the other hand, the Hunahpu tribe realized that their flint went missing with Jon being held responsible for the misplacement. On the reward challenge, John won at the rock- paper- scissors giving the Coyopa the right to choose their representative but he volunteered, competing up against his girlfriend, Julie. She won in full victory and chose Jeremy to join him in Exile Island. Jeremy found the urn but shared it with John with a promise that they will take care of their own loved ones once they returned to the Island. After lying about having two hidden idols, Val was voted out from the game.
This 29th season of Survivor: San Juan del Sur “Blood vs. Water” airs on CBS every Wednesdays at 8pm EST.
