'Camp X-Ray' Movie Release Date Oct 2014 Starring Kristen Stewart, Watch Powerful New Trailer #2 Here (VIDEO)
Kristen Stewart, best known for her role as Bella in the Twilight movie series has a new movie coming out titled Camp X-Ray. Alongside Stewart, the film also stars Peyman Maadi, Lane Garrison, John Carroll Lynch and Tara Holt. They have just released their second new trailer for the film which you can check out above.
The 24-year-old actress plays Pvt. Amy Cole, a young woman who joins the military to be part of something bigger than herself and her small town roots. But she ends up as a new guard at Guantanamo Bay instead, where her mission is far from black and white. "Make no mistake about it: This is a war zone" says the caption. Surrounded by hostile jihadists and aggressive squadmates, she strikes up an unusual friendship with one of the detainees, Ali Amir (Maadi). A story of two people, on opposite sides of a war, struggling to find their way through the ethical quagmire of Guantanamo Bay. And in the process, they form an unlikely bond that changes them both.
Camp X-Ray is set to release to theaters on October 17th. The film premiered in New York City at Crosby Street Hotel on Monday, October 6th.
Stewart has also starred in Panic Room (2002), Speak (2004), Zathura (2005), The Messengers (2007), Adventureland (2009), The Runaways (2010), Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), On the Road (2012) and Clouds of Sils Maria (2014).
She will star in an adaptation of the book Still Alice and Equals, with both movies projected for release in 2015. She is also the face of Chanel and Balenciaga fashion brands.
