‘Witches of East End’ Finale: Twist and Deaths, Dash and Killian Switch Souls, Wendy in the Underworld

'Witches of East End' Finale: Twist and Deaths, Dash and Killian Switch Souls, Wendy in the Underworld
The final moments of the action-packed television series Witches of East End has concluded with a special two-hour finale last October 5, 2014. The last two episodes are episode 12, entitled "Box to the Future," and episode 13, entitled "For Whom the Spell Tolls."
'Witches of East End' is an American supernatural drama television series, which is based on the book of the same name written by Melissa de la Cruz. The television series centers on the lives of a family of witches.
The finale started off with Killian poisoning himself to finish his 'star-crossed' destiny with Freya. However, his dreams were transformed into a nightmare when he ran to his girlfriend, who apparently had no life. Killian thought that Freya was dead. But then, Freya revealed that she's alive when she ran to get red flowers with long stems for her lover.
Ingrid gets to Killian, but the latter is about to die. She tried giving the suffering Gardiner brother drops from a lotus root. It is as traditional therapy used to remove toxins. However, the flower is weak for the spell.
Ingrid has to face more challenges aside from the death of her sister's lover. Frederick has found out that his sister is not completely ready to go back to Asgard. Frederick told the king that Ingrid has doubts about returning to Asgard and has been spending a lot of moments with Bastian. Bastian is the name given to Dash when he lived there. Beauchamp had made his mind that it was the right time to pay a visit to his friend from before
The twelfth episode moves on to the 1840s where Freya awakens. She then tells her 'awful dream' to Wendy. However, Wendy has bigger problems to resolve. Wendy actually lost the key that will let them move from the past to the present. Because of this, she had no time to interpret Freya's dream.
Freya and Wendy both desperately looked for the key. She also revealed that if they don't escape the past in a few hours, then Beauchamps in the present time could die. So, the two just retraced their steps in order to go to the present time.
Joanna kept her search to retrieve the magical box since it is her only chance to destroy the king. However, Tarkoff was also there, stalking her. Meanwhile, the King visited Dash. He told Dash to stop from spending time with Ingrid. If Dash follows, the king will give him reward.
Wendy explained to Freya what would happen to her if they don't escape the past. First, she will feel sick. Then, her organs will turn to liquid and they will bleed until they're dead. Joana recreates the night she killed Freya. She was able to get the mystical box and Tarkoff stole it from her. Joanna bumped into Wendy and Freya and informed them about Tarkoff.
Later, the king confronts Ingrid on what she did. He punishes her as she lied about wanting to go back to Asgard. Ingrid realized that the king wanted to steal their powers, only after the king has stolen it.
Frederick appeared and attacked the king, but it backfired. He and Ingrid accessed Archibald's journals to look for a spell strong enough to kill Nikolaus. Frederick read Dash's thoughts to successfully uncover a spell.
Tarkoff caught Joanna and he will inject drugs that will keep her high. Wendy and Freya finally got the key and headed back to the portal. But then, being worried about Joanna, Wendy transformed into a cat to look for her sister. She finds Joanna before Tarkoff injects another dosage. Wendy slams him and stabs him in the neck with his needle.
Frederick helped create a portal, allowing the three Beauchamp women to escape. Regrettably, they don't have the box to destroy the king. They bled out. Being a smart witch, Freya suggested that they join their powers together.
Soon, they managed to kill their grandfather and went to Killian's home. Unfortunately, Killian's already dead. Freya teared. When she leans for a kiss Killian, a glowing light woke the guy. Frederick was murdered by a high heel-wearing killer. Wendy traded her final life to bring Tommy back.
Killian bailed his brother Dash. However, Dash uttered a spell which switched their souls. Dash is now with Freya, while Killian is behind the bars. Wendy woke in the blazing underworld. A mysterious character greeted her and called her 'sister.' And that concludes the Season 2 finale. What will happen to the characters? Find out once the series releases the next season.
