'Bones Season 10' Episode 3 'The Purging of the Pundit' Spoilers: After a Gloomy Episode It's Time to Move On, New Case Underway
It's time to shed the tears and move on. After a shocking death of a beloved character, "Bones" Season 10 is said to shift into light from a gloomy mode in its third episode, Latin Post reported.
"Although the first two episodes of 'Bones' has left TV fans in utter shock and grief over the sudden death of the beloved Dr. Lance Sweets, viewers can look forward to an all-new episode that will lighten the mood with tongue-in-cheek humor."
The show shocked its audience during its first episode when Sweets was brought to death by a trained assassin. The beloved psychologist was killed in order to keep FBI's conspiracy a secret. The second episode was equally melancholic as Sweet was given an emotional funeral ceremony and was laid to rest.
"We wanted to send him off in a way that honored his memory and showed how much our characters have changed, grown because of their contact with Sweets," Stephen Nathan, Bones' executive producer, said in an interview. Nathan also said that the next episode of "Bones" will show how the family will pull together and move on after Sweets untimely death.
Christian Today reported that the crime comedy-drama series' third episode will be packed with twists and turns. According to a synopsis released, Bones' main characters, FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan (Emily Deschanel), will be working on a new case.
Booth and Brennan's new case is set to bring back the show in its normalcy, after the FBI conspiracy has been solved and Sweet has been laid to rest, as reported by International Business Times. "Now that the conspiracy is done, viewers can finally look forward to the show getting back to a state of normalcy, even if they are still sore over the loss of Sweets."
"Bones" 10th installment's third episode, titled "The Purging of the Pundit," is said to feature a new murder case involving a radio host with deep secrets. As the two detectives solve the case, they are set to uncover dark secrets that will soon lead them to the killer.
Fans may have been sad after Sweet's death but the new murder case promises a thrilling new twist for "Bones" Season 10. The show's third episode will be airing on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 8 p.m. on Fox.
