Forza Horizon 2 Xbox 360 DLC Updates: The Game Will Not Be Receiving A DLC Pack For The Xbox 360 Meaning There Will Be No Cars, No Packs And No Rewards For Microsoft's Xbox 360 Gamers
We have the latest for you on the Forza Horizon 2 Xbox 360 DLC. The racing game has really picked up in the gaming world and has earned a lot of fans but recent news about this game has really disappointed fans. The game will not be receiving a DLC pack for gamers playing it on the Xbox 360. What does this mean? There will be no cars, no packs and no rewards for Microsoft's Xbox 360 gamers.
News reports from one of the studios behind Forza Horizon 2, Turn 10 has confirmed that fans should not expect any downloadable content as upgrades for the Xbox 360 game version, Vikki Blake posted on IGN. Well this is an understandable because the game has recently released a DLC pack for the Xbox One Version of Forza Horizon 2. When the DLC was released many thought that the DLC for Xbox 360 was just around the corner but that is not the case, reported Gamespot news.
To make things pretty clear Brian Ekberg, Community manager posted on a forum explaining why this is the case i.e. why the Xbox 360 has no DLC pack. "I've seen a lot of questions from community members about certain features and functionality on the Xbox 360 version of the game, including questions regarding DLC and Forza rewards for the 360 version of the game. To clarify: we are currently planning to release DLC only for the Xbox one version of Forza 2,' said Ekberg.
Ekberg further explained about the DLC pack for Xbox One version. It will reward benefits which include perks gained by building ones Forza Rewards Tier level scores which are currently not available to racers in Xbox 360, reports IGN News.
"Forza rewards benefits are only available in the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2. This means that Xbox 360 players will not receive Forza rewards credits or cars. In addition, progress in the 360 version of Forza 2 does not count towards rewards Tier level score. Only progress in the Xbox One version will count towards your overall Forza score and Tier level in Forza rewards."
