'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7, Episode 5 Recap: Teller Causes 'Some Strange Eruption'h
Having peace of mind is elusive to Jax Teller. In the last season of the hit series "Sons of Anarchy," it closed out with Jax holding his dead wife in his arms. Now, four episodes into Season 7 of "Sons of Anarchy," Jax lost his mistress. So goes the life of SAMCRO's fearless leader.
Last week's episode ended up with a horrible massacres of the prostitutes at Diosa Norte, including Colette. This week with the title "Some Strange Eruption," begins with people looking for answers.
First up: the new sheriff's attempt to square things away with Jax. The sheriff's mind however is preoccupied with so many things, considering she's now hooking up with Jax's BFF Chibs.
For the first time, Jax is realizing the consequences of trying to take down Henry Lin's Triad. "Daddy's responsible for everyone here," Jax tells his son Abel aka mini-Jax. "It's my job to keep them safe." Daddy isn't doing a great job so far.
Meanwhile, Jax finally comes clean and informs Nero that Lin ordered the hit on Tara (Though, we all know Jax is sadly mistaken). Nero has to decide now which side he's on, and that's hard. Juice's Fredo-situation continues to evolve as the episode goes on. Unser and Gemma's plan to get Juice out of the town is moving slowly. And when things move slowly, Juice can get himself into more trouble.
Jax lays a brutal beating on Lin, who is confused by the entire series of events. Before Jax can finish the job, the real cops show up. SAMCRO manages to get away, while Lin and his crew are destined for prison.
The episode ends with Juice proving he's no dummy. He realizes Gemma is driving him to the middle of nowhere to kill him.
Before she can shoot him, Juice swerves the car off the road, grabs a gun and comes to the realization that Gemma is one cold-hearted woman. Her fate is now in Juice's hands.
Now let's stay tuned in this season of "Sons and Anarchy" and hope for more exciting scenes.
