Angry Birds movie News and Updates: Peter Dinklage, Maya Rudolph and Jason Sudeikis to headline the Famous Game-turned-Movie

Angry Birds movie is a go! The upcoming game-turned-movie is now being adapted to the big screen.

The Angry Birds movie cast has also been revealed. Producers are happy to announce that Comedian Maya Rudolph, Game of Throne's Peter Dinklage and Horrible Bosses' Jason Sudeikis are headlining and will be voicing the much anticipated Angry Birds movie.

Supporting Dinklage and Rudolph are Frozen's Josh Gad, Bridesmaids' Bill Hader and Danny McBride. The cast has been revealed right after fans of the game worked hard to sling one billion birds in a span of 48 hours. A sneak peak of the film has also been revealed to fans.

The famous game-turned-movie will be directed by Fergal Reilly and Clay Kaytis. The Angry Birds movie plot, though, is still a big secret according to The Guardian.

Speculations are circulating online on the roles the cast will play. It seems that Sudeikis will voice temperamental Red, Gad as the nifty Chuck and McBride as the explosive Bomb. Rudolph will voice the female bird Matilda while Hader has yet to be assigned on a specific role. Dinklage, on the other hand, will voice the legendary Mighty Eagle.

The Producer of the much-loved game-turned into a movie, Joel Cohen, voices out his excitement, stating, "I'm extremely proud of this cast. Not only do we have Jason, Josh, Danny, Bill, Maya, and Peter bringing these characters to life, but they're surrounded by an all-star ensemble of emerging comedic talent - these are some of the funniest people out there today, and we're thrilled to have them all on board."

The Angry Birds animated show was launched last year and it garnered 3 billion views in a span of 18 months.

The movie will be produced by Finnish Angry Birds creator Rovio and Hollywood studio Sony. The Angry Birds movie release date is set on July 2016.
