'Agents of Shield' Season 2 Latest News, Updates, Spoilers: Episodes 4, 5 and 6 Cliffhangers
Marvel's "Agents of Shield" season one garnered great feedback giving the series another season to show-off their superhero moves! Season two guarantees more explosive and action-filled episodes.
Season two starts off with Agent Phil Coulson getting promoted as the new Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Dealing with traitors, having some agents killed, and rebuilding the agency from scratch is a challenging task for Director Coulson. Will he be able handle the pressure?
And can Coulson trust the remaining agents? Agent Melina May, none other than Ming-Na Wen is a longtime friend of Coulson, but in Episode 4 "Face My Enemy" Agent May gets into an argument with her boss. Does this reveal that Agent May is also a traitor or is this just part of their undercover assignment? Coulson and May takes on a task leading them to a party where an mysterious painting is hidden.
Will they be able to solve the mystery before it's too late? The exciting episode will also present other agents trapped in difficult situations. Only one person might be able to help, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), the teams engineer. But after suffering severe damage from an accident, can Fitz step up and save the team? Bobby Roth directs episode 4 and written by Monica Owusu- Breen.
Meanwhile, new characters pop up in the fifth episode. Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki) a.k.a. Mockingbird, the Security Chief of Hydra, is the most intriguing character in the episode "A Hen in the Wolf House". In the same episode, Raina (Ruth Negga) reluctantly reunites Skye (Chloe Bennet), the team hacker, with her father. Brent Fletcher wrote the script of episode five under the directorship of Holly Dale.
Episode 6 'the Fractured House' comes next with the S.H.I.E.L.D. team framed for a terrorist attack. Hydra made sure that when 'terrorists' attack the United Nations , all the blame points to the S.H.I.E.L.D. team. Viewers can thank screenwriters Lauren Le Franc and Rafe Judkins for this explosive story directed by Ron Underwood.
Other super agents showing their moves in the TV series are Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) a former agent working secretly for Hydra, Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) the expert bio-chemist of the group, and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood), a professional person-at-arms.
To make things very interesting in "Agents of Shield" season 2, viewers might see a glimpse of Hawkeye, Black Widow and Sharon Carter! They will certainly boost the ratings of season two!
So Avengers fanatics let's cross our fingers! Jeremy Renner plays Hawkeye or Clint Barton while Scarlet Johansson is Black Widow or Natasha Romanov in the "Avengers" films while Emily VanCamp plays Sharon Carter or Agent 13 in the movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Marvel's "Agents of Shield" episodes 4,5 and 6 will be shown October 14, 21 and 28 respectively. The TV series created by Joss and Jed Whedon, is an ABC Studios and Marvel Television production.
