Gordon Mote Earns 11th Nomination From Academy of Country Music

Up for his 11th Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, singer/songwriter Gordon Mote is enjoying quite a career. This year the highly accomplished musician is nominated for Piano/Keyboards Player of the Year, which he has already won twice back in 2009 and 2011. This year's event marks the 49th installment and airs live from the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, NV on Sunday, April 6th at 8:00 PM ET on CBS.
"It is an honor to once again be nominated for this prestigious award," says Mote. "There are incredibly talented country players in Nashville and it is gratifying to be in such great company."
Along with ACM nominations, Mote has also been recognized with five nominations from the 2014 Absolutely Gospel Music Awards. His latest release All Things New has been nominated for Album of the Year. Mote is also nominated for Musician of the Year and Country Recording of the Year. Nominees are decided by select media reps and the staff of AbsolutelyGospel.com. Starting February 1st, fans will also be able to cast their votes for who they think should win in each category.
The Absolutely Gospel Music Awards will take place on Tuesday, April 15th in Nashville, TN.
