HTC One M8 Eye vs One Desire Eye Features, Release Date, Specs: Which One is the Best?
The big name HTC has been recently concentrating on the camera quality. The company has already earned decent reputation of providing durable devices with great hardware specifications. After the low performance camera quality issue of HTC One M8, the company is trying to deflect the accusation with quality devices like HTC Desire Eye and HTC One M8 Eye. Both the devices provide excellent camera feature with quality hardware specification. Let's take a deep look at those devices configuration.
The HTC Desire Eye was announced in October while the release date is due in November. The device has excellent display resolution with 5.2-inch display screen size and 2080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The pixel density is also pretty high with 424 pixels per inch.
The display type will be as usual capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors. On the other hand, the HTC One M8 Eye has a bit smaller 5.0-inches display screen size with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. This device also has high pixel density with 441 pixels per inch. The display glass is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and built in HTC sense user interface version 6 is available. The display type is Super LCD3 capacitive touch screen with impressive color and picture quality.
Both the devices have seen remarkable update in the camera department where the front camera of Desire Eye has been blessed with a 13MP camera sensor. The HTC One M8 EYE also has 13MP primary camera but lacks in the secondary camera quality. Desire Eye is packed with 13MP secondary camera that will surely attract the selfie fans.
Keeping the selfie trend in mind HTC has gifted Desire Eye handset with extreme front facing camera, which has a Dual LED flash, auto focus, HDR feature. The HTC One M8 Eye has decent front facing camera, which also performs decently but lacks the flash feature. Click here for the company review.
The HTC Desire Eye is powered with muscular hardware configuration that contains Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with Quad-Core 2.3GHz Krait 400 processor and decent Adreno 330 GPU. It offers heavy-duty performance with smooth operating experience. The HTC One M8 EYE has similar type of hardware specification like HTC Desire Eye. Both the devices have 2GB of RAM slot with 128GB expandable memory storage system.
The power bank of HTC Desire Eye has 2,400mAh battery capacity while the HTC One M8 Eye has 2,600 mAh battery size. HTC Desire Eye will operate on Android 4.4 KitKat version while the HTC One M8 Eye will operate on Android version 4.4.4 right after unboxing.
