Resident Evil TV series is being planned to hit the small screen by Constantin Films
According to Variety via Polygon, the famous movie franchise and game is about to hit the small screen. Yes, Resident Evil TV series is in the works.
Constantin Film Studio Executive Martin Moskowicz, had confirmed the upcoming TV show. Constantin Film is planning to produce more film-to-TV adaptations. The Mortal Instruments and Perfume are among the movies being eyed on.
It is laid out that the Resident Evil TV series will follow after the final Resident Evil movie will be shown. Since the movie itself won't start production right until the heroine, Alice, who is played by Mila Jovovich in real life, gives birth. The movie is estimated to start principal photography by the summer of 2015.
Resident Evil TV series cast has yet to be determined, but we will keep you posted on any updates about this. Jovovich, might not star in the TV series considering she headlined five movies, but a guest starring role is not too much to ask.
Fans of the Game and Movie franchise are pretty excited of this good news. Even if the film adaptation is the final one, we can still see Alice kick ass every week at the comfort of our homes.
