Gwen Stefani & No Doubt Sign with Azoff Music Management
Irving Azoff, of Azoff Music Managment and MSG Entertainment (AMSGE) have announced that he is taking over management for Gwen Stefani and No Doubt moving forward. This will be a joint venture between Azoff Management and the Madison Square Garden Company. No Doubt parted ways with Rebel Waltz Management, whom they had been with since 1998.
Azoff has many other famous clients that include the Eagles, Christina Aguilera, Steely Dan, Van Halen, Chelsea Handler, and Cassadee Pope, in addition to the many comics signed with Levity.
No Doubt's successful career has pressed five albums have produced No. 1 hits including "Don't Speak," "Just a Girl," "Hey Baby" and "Underneath It All." Between the band and Gwen's solo career, she has sold nearly 30 million records worldwide.
Stefani's last solo tour in 2007 grossed $31.5 million and sold 672,289 tickets to 57 shows mostly in North America, according to Billboard Boxscore. In 2009, No Doubt reported $22.6 million and nearly 500,000 attendance from 36 shows in North American arenas and amphitheaters, according to Boxscore.
Stefani has had her plate full with having a new child and agreeing to a deal with NBC to be a judge on the upcoming Season 7 of "The Voice" this Fall, replacing Shakira and Christina Aguilera who was originally supposed to back to for this season. She will be joined by another new judge, Pharrell Williams who will be joining the show for this season along with veteran judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
This signing should be good news for No Doubt fans as this means that new music and tour dates should be coming in the next year.
