T. D. Jakes' Daughter Cora Jakes Coleman is Ending Her Marriage

Cora Jakes Coleman, the daughter of author and preacher T. D. Jakes, is ending her marriage to her husband Richard Brandon Coleman, who is a Christian rapper that goes by the name SkiiVentura. The couple was married on June 4, 2011 and they share two adopted children, Amauri, 13, and Jason, 7, as Jakes struggles with infertility.   

Cora writes, "It is with a heavy heart that I announce that my husband and I have decided to divorce. This is a very private and personal matter and I kindly ask for your prayers as I prioritize myself, and most importantly, my children's well being at this time. God bless."

Cora is the Executive Director of Destiny House Children's Ministry of The Potter's House of Dallas, which has more than 30,000 members and over 50 outreach ministries. Under Cora's dynamic and compassionate leadership, attendance in the children's ministry has increased by over 300%. Cora has a way with words, and a refreshing openness, that makes her a much sought after speaker and writer. Cora's passion is spending time with her children, and husband and healing hurting people. 

Brandon is a Christian rapper who often raps about God. His two singles, "Last Days" and "Corpus," are about living life to the fullest and pursuing meaningful things. As per him, his two singles were made during his time at the hospital when he battled kidney failure in 2018.
