Jamie MacDonald Tops the Charts for a Third Week with “Desperate”

Jamie MacDonald celebrates a huge moment this week as her single "Desperate" holds the No. 1 spot for the third week in a row on both the Billboard Christian AC and Mediabase Christian AC charts.
A heartfelt anthem about surrender and hope, "Desperate" has quickly become a fan favorite, connecting with listeners around the world. The song has now crossed 1 million weekly global streams and continues to build momentum across radio, streaming platforms, and beyond.
MacDonald's music blends soulful melodies with lyrics that speak to faith, resilience, and the power of holding on when life gets hard. Following the release of her debut single "A Million Chances" last fall, she's quickly become one of the most talked-about new voices in Christian music.
Adding to the excitement, MacDonald was recently nominated for CMB's Breakout Artist of the Year at Momentum 2025, and she'll be taking the stage at the KLOVE Fan Awards, performing "Desperate" at the Emerging Artist Showcase.
This is just the beginning for Jamie MacDonald - and she's only getting started.
