Home Release Date Spoilers, and Reveals: Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez to Feature in the Cast of Science Fiction Animation
If you watched the movie Mr. Peabody and Sherman or Rio 2 at the movies then you remember the short animation before it showed, titled almost home. Fox and Dreamworks are going to bring a sparkle to your eye as the full length feature titled home is coming to theatres. The Release date has been announced, changed and pushed forward several times with the date now set for March 27th 2015. The movie is based on a book by Adam Rex titled the true meaning of someday and was originally supposed to be titled happy someday. The official trailer was released on June 12th of 2014.
The movie is about an alien race called Boov who travel the universe under direction of Captain Smek and settle on Earth as a suitable location. The human race is undoubtedly relocated and the new race get to re-organizing the planet. One earth girl escapes and becomes accidental friends with a banished Boov with whom she embarks on for the road-trip to end all road-trips. The story sounds quite interesting and the movie shall undoubtedly be a gem in the DreamWorks crown considering the 135 million dollar price tag.
Director Tim Johnson known for the classic Antz, Over the Hedge and How to train your dragon shall be bringing his expertise to this movie and expected to make it a raging success. He shall be working with producer Chris Jenkins a seasoned animation production member having worked on Rio Surfs Up , The Lion King, Beauty And The Beast , Open Season and the little Mermaid among other notable works of animation. Other production staff includes Susan Buirgy, Tom Astle and Matt Ember. The cast is full of exciting and diverse voices including Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Steve Martin and Jim Parsons. With Rihanna and Jenny from the block on the list one can't help but wonder if there shall be a little bit of singing in the movie. Either way, it is bound to be a success that we are all waiting anxiously for.
