Forever TV show Latest News: Forever focuses on the subject of Immortality and the Dead!
On the premiere of ABC's show Forever, we all got a taste of a different kind of series which involves an undying offending lead character. Played by Ioan Gruffudd, Dr. Henry Morgan is a medical examiner who is annoyingly smart and could very well fit on the ranks of Sherlock and Doctor Who, and yes he is immortal. We will be finding out in the premiere as to what heroic act of his gave him this blessing, or would you call this a curse?
So what do you do when you can't die but you want to? Study dead people, of course! Dr. Morgan took a job at a mortuary so that he could study the dead, learn how to 'cure' himself and understand what had happened to his body. The character had even said these words during the sneak peek of the first episode 'Just imagine all the things you could do with eternity. See the world. Speak countless languages. In fact, there's almost nothing in this life I haven't done, except leave it'. We can just imagine his sadness.
The show is not as depressing as you might have initially thought. Dr. Morgan is soon to encounter a detective Jo Martinez (played by Alana De La Garza). When they interact, Jo will notice something different about the doctor, and we'll witness her try and find out what it could possibly be. Another upside is that Dr. Morgan will be getting himself a sidekick called Abe (Judd Hirsch) who knows all about his secrets and help him with his venture.
