Michael Monroe Drops "Some Things I've Been Learning About God: Disc 1"

Michael Monroe's latest release, Some Things I've Been Learning About God: Disc 1, is a five-track EP that dropped on February 28, 2025. This collection explores themes of faith, vulnerability, and devotion through heartfelt songwriting and a blend of worship and contemporary Christian music.

"This whole following Jesus thing is tricky-it's harder than it looks and honestly it frequently feels different than I thought it would. But I've learned that in pain there is still hope, in darkness there is still light, when I feel totally depleted Jesus brings fullness, and in confusion Jesus brings clarity. I hope these songs help you. I know there is still so much to learn, but here are some things I've been learning about God." - Michael Monroe
"Empty Hands" (feat. Blake Wiggins) opens the EP with a reflective and raw message about surrendering to God. "John the Baptist" is a standout with its folk-infused storytelling approach. While "Not Going Anywhere" serves as a moving closing track, emphasizing God's steadfast presence.
Tracklist:
- Empty Hands (feat. Blake Wiggins) - 5:49
- Hiding - 4:48
- Pour It Out - 4:23
- John the Baptist - 3:05
- Not Going Anywhere - 5:26
